PHOTO UPLOAD DEADLINE
To be included for judging your photos should be uploaded no later than 6:00 PM on Tuesday 29 August 2023 using the following link:

FILE NAMING
Remember to include your entry number as the first 3 characters of the file name and the clue number as the next 2 characters i.e. 1234-03-dsc2459.jpg
FILE SIZE
Images must be no smaller than 1800 pixels on the long side and JPEG .jpg format.
SUBMITTING VIDEO
If submitting video please ensure the video is no longer than 10 seconds and 720p .mov or .mp4.
Uploading to to the gallery is straightforward.

When you open the link you'll see one of the above screens. From here you can drag and drop photos from your computer or browse your computer and upload.
Once your photos have uploaded you'll see the above confirmation screen.

You do not need a desktop or laptop computer to process your photos, the majority of adustments may be done on your phone, tablet computer or iPad.
Most phone camera apps have basic adjustments. For more control there are many photo processing apps. Snapseed is a favourite and simple to use.

Remember that the file recorded by the camera is not the final image. Processing an image will increase the chances of your photos being noticed.

- Exposure
- Colour balance
- Contrast
- Highlights
- Shadows
- Contrast
- Convert to black & white
- Cropping for impact and/or composition
